Text of Ayat al-Kursi with Persian Translation
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him.

He is God; there is no god but He; the Living, the Self-Subsisting;
Neither slumber nor deep sleep seizes Him.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth belongs to Him.
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them.
Who can intercede with Him save by His leave? He knows what lies before them and what lies behind them.
And they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except what He wills.
And they do not encompass anything of His knowledge except what He wills.
His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
His Throne encompasses the heavens and the earth, and guarding them does not weary Him. He is the Exalted, the Magnificent.
There is no compulsion in religion. The right path has become distinct from error.

So whoever disbelieves in false deities and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it.
Whoever rejects false deities and believes in God has held fast to a firm handle that never breaks.
And Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light.
God is the guardian of those who believe. He brings them out of darkness into light.
And those who disbelieve — their allies are false deities. They take them out of light into darkness.
And those who disbelieve, their patrons are false deities, who bring them out of light into darkness.
Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
They are the dwellers of the Fire, abiding therein forever.
Allah, the Exalted, the Magnificent, has spoken the truth.

The Story of the Revelation of Ayat al-Kursi to the Noble Prophet (PBUH)
The Noble Prophet (PBUH) said:
When God Almighty wished to reveal Surah Al-Hamd and the verses of Shahidullah (18 and 19) of Al-Imran, Qul Allahuumma (26 and 27) of Al-Imran, Surah Al-Ikhlas, and Ayat al-Kursi, all of them clung to the Divine Throne, while there was no veil or covering between them and God.
Then he said: “Lord! You send us to homes full of sin and disobedience, while we are pure and immaculate.”

When this verse was revealed, the Messenger of God (PBUH) said that Ayat al-Kursi is a verse sent down from the treasure of the Throne, and when it was revealed, every idol on earth fell prostrate.
